Helene Glassman, owner of Imagery Photography, received the Judge's Choice Award, Illustrative Photographer of the year, and the Kodak Gallery Award for her print titled, "Las Vegas Honeymoon" at the annual Awards banquet for the Western Regional Convention in association with the Professional Photographers of California. The highlight of the evening was the awarding by Professional Photographers of America of it's prestigious "National Award." Ms. Glassman received this award for her long time service in education, committee work and general promotion of professionalism and quality of product.

Ms. Glassman established Imagery Photography in the Goleta/Santa Barbara area in 1982 when she graduated from the Brooks Institute of Photography. She is currently president of the Photographic Professionals of Santa Barbara County, a California representative to the National Council of the Professional Photographers of America, and a member of the prestigious board of governors of The American Society of Photographers.
